Before proceeding to request a commission, please read the following Terms of Service. By sending payment, you are entering an Agreement with the Artist that you have read, understand and agree by all the terms below.

Commission Terms of Service

1. Clear and Concise visual reference and/or written description of a commission idea must be provided by the Client. An additional fee of up to $20 (AUD) may be required for works designed based solely on written descriptions.

2. The Artist reserves the right to issue a refund and cancel a commission due to poor communication, rude or inappropriate behaviour, or inability to communicate effectively.

3. The Artist will not accept commissions of sexually explicit (x-rated) materials, body horror, mechas, or hateful images. Works related to implied violence or not-explicit NSFW will be considered on a case-by-case basis, and additional fees may apply for content outside of the Artist's usual skillset since they may take up more time to complete than a standard request.

4. The Artist retains the rights to display all commissioned work on any personal website, gallery or journal. If the work is a time-sensitive gift, public showcase may be delayed by request of the Client.

5. The Artist retains all rights to the commissioned artwork, including the right to make prints and merchandise. Clients retain all rights to their respective characters, but it does not allow them rights to the commissioned image.

6. Clients may not profit from the artwork. This includes sale of digital files, prints of digital files, or rights to the image. Commissioned works uploaded to the CLient's personal website or gallery must be watermarked or signed, with written credit to the Artist alongside any online post of the artwork. Cropping o editing out the signature is a violation of these terms. Unmarked and unsigned versions are for personal use only.

7. Client Payments are to be made via PayPal invoice, which will be sent to the Client's email by the Artist. Clients should not make any Payments to the Artist's PayPal that are not processed via invoices. Invoices are required for the sake of the Artist's records.

8. Clients should not make any Payments to the Artist if their request has not been confirmed via Instagram messenger or Email with the Artist, as it will not Guarantee an unconfirmed slot.

9. Payments of $40 and under are made upfront in full before preliminary work begins. Payments of more than $40 will be split. Half is paid upfront when the commission is confirmed and before preliminary work begins, and the other half is paid when the commission is completed. The Client will not receive an un-marked version of the commission until the final payment as been received.

10. Any issues with, or need for alternate payment arrangements are to be discussed with the Artist as soon as they. are known to the Client.

11. Clients will have the opportunity to direcct alterations of their commission in the thumbnail sketch and lining stage. No more than 3 thumbnail revisions (or equal in terms of small alterations), and 3 lining revisions will be made unless the client wishes to pay a fee for new thumbnails or line revisions ($10-$20).

12. If the Client wishes to cancel their commission during the thumbnail sketch stage they will be refunded 50% of what they paid.

13. If the Client wishes to cancel their commission during or after the colouring stage they will not be issued a refund.

14. The Artist ensures the Client will receive Email or Instagram message updates (if the Client has a preference, the Artist will use the preferred method of communication) on their commission when necessary, and will specify an estimated working timeframe where possible. Clients are encouraged to check in when they feel it's necessary for updates, assurances or reminders.

15. Expected turnover for pieces varies depending on the complexity of the desired piece; though the Artist aims to complete pieces as quickly. as possible while maintaining a high standard of work. Clients will be kept up to date with project progress via Email or Instagram messenger.

16. For time sensitive works such as birthday gifts, please make the artist aware of the intended date and priority may be placed upon said work.

17. The Artist's Status for commission availability will be kept up to date in the bio of their instagram account and on their website under the Commissions tab.

18. Do not email the Artist for commissions if the commission status is listed as closed, as it will not guarantee you a slot in upcoming openings.

19. The Client must read, understand and agree by all the above terms before entering into an Agreement with the Artist. By sending payment, the Client agrees to the above terms.

Please double check the last time changes were made, and re-read the Terms if you have not read the most updated version.
